When the next heatwave will hit the West Midlands

The West Midlands is set to experience a mini-heatwave later this month, where temperatures could soar to 24C. The mercury is set to rise on Saturday 13 July, engulfing the UK with temperatures around 20C.

A new weather map reveals the West Midlands region will see temperatures of 22C, 23C and 24C, while the English capital London is set to enjoy 26C, MyLondon reports.




It will be a welcome sight for Brits who have experienced a relatively mixed start to July. In the West Midlands, the Met Office has predicted outbreaks of heavy rain moving across the region on the evening of Tuesday 2 July.

While on Wednesday, July 3, the weatherman said we can expect a “mostly cloudy day” with “showers and some longer spells of rain too”. Looking ahead from Thursday to Saturday, July 4 to 6, the Met Office said: “Drier and brighter on Thursday.
