Caz Milligan calls off fight with Rangers legend Nacho Novo after biting off ‘more than I can chew’

Caz Milligan has cancelled his upcoming boxing match against former Rangers striker Nacho Novo after admitting he had “bitten off more than he could chew”.

The Fife-born influencer was due to fight the Hall of Fame Gers legend in front of a home crowd at the Hydro on August 10.

We previously reported that fans wanting to watch the fight were being charged up to £228.70 for a prime front row seat at ringside, with other tickets available for around £47.10.

However, Milligan today (July 2) took to Instagram to admit the fight is now off. In the video, he said: “The main (reason) is I bit off more than I can chew.

“I take responsibility for that. I had a successful first event at a hotel and I got the contacts with Hydro and I got the contacts with Novo and I was really excited and we just went really big really early.

“I’m taking it all in stride. It’s upsetting, it’s emotional and it’s stuff I’ve never dealt with before.
