Teenager in court as Radford stabbing victim remains seriously ill in hospital

A 19-year-old man has appeared in court after a man was stabbed near a student accommodation block in Radford last month. Just before 6pm on Thursday, June 27, emergency services were called to St Peter’s Street.

A 20-year-old victim was found seriously injured and taken to hospital. Nottinghamshire Police said at the time the attack had taken place on the footpath between Midland Way and New Road.



William Osaseri has been charged with wounding with intent, robbery, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply. Osaseri, of Le May Avenue, Grove Park, Lewisham, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 9.

The victim remains seriously ill in hospital, police said. Osaseri, 19, has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday, August 6, for a plea hearing.
