Ndidi Signs New Three-Year Contract With Leicester City

Wilfred Ndidi is set to sign a three-year deal with Premier League club Leicester City, reports.

The Nigerian international’s previous contract expired at the end of last month.

Ndidi has already been linked to clubs in Turkey, France and Spain.

The midfielder has now agreed to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium after extensive talks with new manager Steve Cooper.

“Wilfred Ndidi ready to sign new deal with Leicester City while final details are being discussed – then it’s all sealed,” wrote reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in X.

“Exclusive details: contract until June 2027, three-year deal… with a release clause also included.

“Despite more than 5 proposals, Ndidi decides to stay and sign with #LCFC.”

The 27-year-old joined Leicester City from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk in January 2017.

He scored 11 goals in 224 appearances for the former Premier League champions.
