£60k ‘Manchester United home’ with hole in roof no one can enter

A decrepit property with a huge hole in the roof and two Manchester United flags in the windows is on the market for £60,000. The front door and downstairs window were boarded up and there appeared to be no access inside, with the details saying it was “understood” to have three bedrooms.

A photo of the house in Coronation Way, Kidderminster, was completed by a mattress propped up against the front window.

The freehold house has a garden to the front and back. The house, which was unsurprisingly empty, was also considered conveniently located for Kidderminster’s amenities.

Before the property went to auction, a description on Rightmove said: “Understood as a three bedroom semi-detached property, benefiting from a front and rear garden, conveniently located for local Kidderminster amenities. Occupancy status unknown *By Mortgagees Order not in possession.”

Savills is hosting the auction, which includes the property, from 9am on Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24. It said there was remote bidding only with users having to register in advance. Buyers can bid online, by phone or submit proxy bids.
