Trainspotting star makes surprise visit to Loch Lomond restaurant leaving staff ‘fanatic’

Trainspotting and Grey’s Anatomy star Kevin McKidd left staff “fanatical” when he visited a restaurant in Loch Lomond.

The Scottish actor, who shot to fame after starring in the Danny Boyle film, made a surprise appearance at the Village Rest in Luss on Sunday, July 7.

The restaurant took to social media to share the news, posting a photo of Kevin, 50, and an employee, both smiling as the actor held a coffee in his hand.

As Record writes, the restaurant even shared that the waitress had a “big fan” moment and ran to call her mother.

The post read: “The super talented and very cool Kevin McKidd, of Trainspotting and Grey’s Anatomy fame, stopped by The Village Rest today.

“He was so kind to help our employee Sarah-Louise, who was a total fan and had to call her mum afterwards! Thanks for stopping by Kevin, hope to see you and your family again soon!”
