Aon Glasgow celebrates female talent in pensions

The Glasgow office of professional services firm Aon plc (NYSE: AON) is celebrating after three of its pensions staff were announced as finalists in the prestigious Women in Pensions Awards.

In total, 40 Aon colleagues were selected across the country.

The Women in Pensions Awards aim to recognise the most outstanding achievements of women in the sector as they strive to improve the sector for everyone.

Those selected were nominated by industry peers in recognition of being pioneers, going above and beyond, or inspiring newcomers.

In Glasgow, Alana Corbett, Alison Murray and Anisha Gill were selected.

Anisha Gill, senior investment advisor at Aon, said: “It is an honour to be nominated for these awards alongside so many talented colleagues and women in the industry.

“Recognising the achievements of diverse and dynamic female talent in the sector is not only a cause for celebration, but also ensures that we continue to make the industry as open and flexible as possible so that it is a more sustainable industry for everyone.”

Finalists will now answer a series of questions to support their nomination before the list is revealed.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in November this year.
